Overview - Sharda University Admission Test 2023

Updated on November 27, 2022: Sharda University Admission Test (SUAT) is a University level Admission Test which is conducted by Sharda University with the objective to determine the eligibility of students for admission in different programs. The university conducts SUAT Tests 2023 once every year during admission in various curriculums such as Engineering, Pharmacy, Management, Law, etc. Apart from this, SUAT is also used for admission into B.Tech, MCA, BCA, and MBA Course.

Candidate can appear for SUAT Exam 2023 at Sharda University campus or another SUAT Exam Centres like Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Goa, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal, Jharkhand, J&K, Kerala, MP, Maharashtra, Orissa, Punjab, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Up, Uttarakhand, West Bengal etc which have to select or filling in the application form during registration.

SUAT 2023 Application Form

The Application form of SUAT 2023 will be available online as well as offline mode or candidates can purchase application form from the admission office of Sharda University. Interested students, who want to appear in the SUAT Exam 2023, need to register their application form within the scheduled date of registration with the required details correctly as well as the filling course. They are also compulsory for uploading an image. Eventually, candidates will have to pay the application fee which has been scheduled by the university.

After the successful completion of the application process, there is a need to take a print out copy of the application form for future reference.

Admission Process

After completion of all process of registration, candidates are provided admit card to appear in the exam. Candidates, who appeared in the test, are shortlisted to appear in the group discussion, personal interview, and written ability test.

Eventually, they are considered to admission at the Sharda University.

Application Fee

Sharda University has determined the Application fee at Rs. 1200 for those candidates who are aspiring to enter in the SUAT Exam 2022. Candidates can make payment by online mode through net banking, debit card/ credit card or by offline mode via DD drawn in the favor of Sharda University payable at Greater Noida.

SUAT 2023: Eligibility Criteria

There are different Eligibility Criteria for various programs of SUAT 2023 which have been given below:

Students who have intent to get knowledge in B.Tech program should have a minimum age of 17 years till admission time and qualified class 10th level exam with a minimum marks 60%  and 70% marks in class 12 the exam from any recognized board with PCM / PCB. But, Computer Science/ PCB is compulsory for Biotechnology subjects.

For M.Tech Program, candidates should have passed B.E/B.Tech / M.Sc. in Environmental Science from a recognized board with at least marks of 60% in the qualifying exam.

Candidates, who have aspired to complete the MBA Program need to perform graduation with English subjects including 50% marks from a recognized board.

SUAT 2023 Exam Pattern

Candidates will be asked MCQ type questions with comprising English Communication, General Aptitude, Physics, Maths & Chemistry for undergraduate courses. 

For undergraduate courses, candidates will be asked questions from General Awareness, English Communication, Logical Reasoning & Critical Thinking & Quantitative Aptitude sections and candidates who want towards Under Graduate (Bio) will have to touch questions in English Communication, General Aptitude, Physics, and Biology & Chemistry. While, who want to jump in the SUAT exam with purpose to get knowledge in the respect of Postgraduate course will have to resolve questions from General Awareness, Logical Reasoning & Quantitative Aptitude sections.

Candidates who will be appeared in SUAT Exam 2023, a total of 100 questions from various sections for different programs will be provided for 1 hour and 30 minutes.

SUAT Syllabus 2023

In the SUAT Test, objective type questions are asked to candidates on the basis of CBSE syllabus of class 10 and 11 wherein each question has consisted of four options. The SUAT exam is conducted on a computer-based test by Sharda University. Candidates must have acquired at least 35% marks in the SUAT exam.

Exempted from SUAT for Rank Holders

SUAT Counselling 2023

All the qualified candidates will be called for the counselling procedure that is conducted by Sharda University through offline mode. Since, to be considered as an eligible candidate, applicants should score more than 35% marks. However, the SUAT 2023 counselling procedure will be based on the Group discussion (GD), Personal Interview (PI) rounds and both rounds are compulsory to qualify.

Candidates will also have to bring the following documents for verification round for admission at the desired course, let check out a list of important documents.
