About Us

Founded in 2008, the Yogananda Institute of Technology & Science (YITS) was started by the Yogananda Educational Society in the popular temple town of Lord Sri Venkateswara, Tirupati. The college is spread over a sprawling field of 16.00 acres. It is located at Chennai – Bangalore NH 205, at a distance of 3 km from Tirupati International Airport and 3 km away from Renigunta Railway Junction.

The college is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE, New Delhi) and affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Anantapur.  The institute currently offers 4 years of Engineering undergraduate courses viz. Civil Engineering (CE), Computer Science & Engineering (CSE), Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE), and Mechanical Engineering (ME) along with a Master of Business Administration (MBA).
