About Us

VEMU Institute of Technology Chittoor was established in the year 2008 and is one of the well-known and finest technical institutions in Chittoor District, Andhra Pradesh (A.P). It is also known as VIT Chittoor.


The college is founded and established by a true academician Prof.(Dr.) K. Chandra Sekhar Naidu, Retired Professor, Andhra University. It is situated in P. Kothakota, on the Tirupathi-Chittoor Highway on a beautiful 16-acre campus.

The college is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE New Delhi) and is affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) Anantapur. The college is reaccredited by NAAC 'A' grade and the National Board of Accreditation (NBA).
