About Us

University Institute of Technology, Burdwan was established in the year 2000 that is a government university that is accredited by TCS and has an academic alliance with IBM, Oracle Corporation and Microsoft Corporation, etc.

UIT Burdwan is approved by the Govt of West Bengal and the All India Council for Technical Education(AICTE), New Delhi, and affiliated with Burdwan University(BU), Burdwan, West Bengal. It is funded by the government.

It has been running B. Tech in 6 disciplines, and M. Tech in 2 disciplines. It is providing many facilities to its students like Modern Library, Hostel, Academic Blocks, well-established classrooms, Cafeteria, Sports and Many more.
