About Us

Thanthai Periyar Government Institute of Technology, Vellore established in the year 1990. It is run by the government and is one of the tenth Government Engineering Colleges in Tamil Nadu. It is situated at Bagayam, Vellore District, Tamil Nadu, India.

This college is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education(AICTE), New Delhi, affiliated with Anna University, Chennai, Tamilnadu, and belongs to Anna University from Zone 6. TPGIT conducts various International and National Level Conferences for students so that students can acquire advanced technology and can update themselves.

It is providing professional and job-oriented programs in B. Tech and M. Tech in the field of Engineering and Technology so that it can contribute to extirpate unemployment.
