Synergy Institute of Technology was started in the year 2009. It is situated near Phulnakhara equidistant from both Bhubaneswar and Cuttack on NH-5. This college is a private self-financed engineering college. The college offers four programs in B.Tech as well as Computer, Civil, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, 

This college is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE New Delhi), recognized by the Government of Odisha, and is affiliated with Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT, Odisha).
