Swami Vivekananda Institute of Science and Technology is a non-profit-making trust that was established in the year 2008. It is located at Dakshin Gobindapur, Sonarpur, Kolkata, India.
This college is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi, and is affiliated with Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, West Bengal, and West Bengal State Council of Technical Education, Kolkata.

It is also accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC),  ISO 9001:2008 Certified Institute. The college provides courses like Diploma Engineering, B.Tech, and MBA.
