About Us

Swami Parmanand Polytechnic also known as SPP is an integral component of Swami Parmanand Group of Colleges (SPGC) which was established in the year 2007 located at Lalru, Chandigarh-New Delhi National Highway of the Indian state Punjab. The college is committed to impart quality education to the students to meet various challenges of professional life at National & International level.

Established in 2004, the Swami Parmanand Group of Colleges (SPGC) has a broad and decent campus that is covered more than in the area of 47 acres of the plot in the backdrop of the Shiwalik Hills, providing a peaceful and lush green, pollution free and eco-friendly environment.

 At present, Swami Parmanand Group of Colleges that are offering various curriculums in varied fields of technical education is being conducted under the guidance of Seth Nand Lal Bajaj Educational and Charitable Society, Derabassi.

SPP is approved with All India Council for Technical Education and is affiliated to The Punjab State Board of Technical Education & Industrial Training (PSBTE& IT)

Programs

The college is a renowned institution in the Punjab state which is offering various courses in the field of Engineering (B.Tech), Management and Polytechnic education. The College has offered courses in Polytechnic like Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Automobile Engineering.

Admission Process

The admission to candidates in Diploma/Polytechnic courses is done through The Punjab State Board of Technical Education & Industrial Training (PSBTE& IT), Chandigarh. Candidates are selected on the basis of the Joint Entrance Test.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates should have educational qualification as class 10th from a recognized board with minimum marks 45% for Diploma / Polytechnic Course.

Class 12th pass from science stream or ITI pass with two years course, candidates can get admission as a lateral entry for Polytechnic Course.

The college has organized a Placement & Training Cell that acts and endeavors with a whole heart for the students during campus selection with intent to secure the best job in the reputed organization by the collaboration of recruiters/entrepreneurs.

However,  the  Placement department setups the relationship between students and corporates where training department enables and trains to the student to providing innovated skill and knowledge which are a modern requirement in the industry in the country and abroad.
