About Us

Rajkiya Engineering College (R.E.C.), Ambedkar Nagar was coined by the Government of Uttar Pradesh under the special component plan in the year 2010 that is situated at Akbarpur: Tanda Road In Front of Hawai Patti, Katariya Yakoobpur, Ambedkar Nagar 2.

This college has started offering B.Tech Programme in three disciplines – Information Technology (IT), Electrical Engineering (EE), and Civil Engineering (CE) with an intake of 60 seats in each branch from the session 2010-11.

R.E.C, Ambedkar Nagar is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education(AICTE), New Delhi, and affiliated with Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University(AKTU ), Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh The institute is a constituent college of Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow. Prof K S Verma has joined as the regular director ( Founder) of this Institute from Jan 15, 2015.

The Placement Record of Rajkiya Engineering College (R.E.C.), Ambedkar is literally great. They provide good placement facilities to their students. They have an individual training and placement cell. Training/Internship is part of the study curriculum of Rajkiya Engineering College (R.E.C.), Ambedkar Nagar. This training/internship can be offered to the pre-final students of B.Tech.in the months of June-July in their sixth semester. This training helps the students gain practical knowledge of how stuff works in the real world.
