About Us

The Visvodaya Society was established in the year 1952 by Dr. Dodla Ramachandra Reddy, and the PBR Visvodaya Institute of Technology & Science was established in the year 1998 under the aegis of the Visvodaya Society. The college started the course with an intake of 180 students in the UG courses of Electronics and Communications Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Electronics & Electrical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. Currently, the total intake of students is 912 including 660 in the UG program, 72 in five M. Tech Specializations, 120 in MBA, and 60 in MCA. 

The college is awarded permanent affiliation by JNTUA, Anantapuramu, and accredited by NAAC with an A grade in 2015 for 5 years. and also accredited by NBA at the UG level for three years in 2010. The College has been given 2(f) and 12(B) by the UGC in the year 2013.
