About Us

N.B.K.R. Institute of Science and Technology Nellore founded in the year 1979 is an Autonomous Institute. The college is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE New Delhi) and is affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) Anantapur. The college is reaccredited by NAAC (UGC) for the second cycle with an “A” grade and all B.Tech courses are accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) under Tier 1.  
N.B.K.R. Institute of Science and Technology offers B.Tech programmes in Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering and Information Technology. M.Tech programmes are offered in Power Systems, Computer Science & Engineering, Digital Electronics & Communication Systems, and Advanced Manufacturing Systems.  

The Institute is sprawling approx at 184 acres with a lush green campus including academic blocks, Boy's and Girl's hostels, Open air auditorium, a sports complex, staff quarters etc. 

Also, the college provides facilities like laboratories, Computer Centre, books, journals, magazines and newspapers and subscribes to thousands of e-journals and e-books. The e-resources can be accessed through the campus network.
