About Us

Modern Institute of Engineering & Technology (MIET) started its journey in the year 2010 at Bandel. It is located amidst verdant abundance and a natural setting of semi-urbanity.  This college is a self-financed private college.

It is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE New Delhi) and is affiliated with the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT West Bengal), West Bengal State Council of Technical Education, Kolkata.

MIET provides courses like B.Tech in Civil Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Diploma in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering.

Eligibility & Admission Procedure:

For B.Tech:
1. Candidate should be passed the High School (10+2) examination of the Council of Higher Secondary Education, West Bengal, or equivalent and have a minimum score of 45% marks.

2. Qualified Joint Entrance Examination conducted by West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board / JEE(Main) conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education and recommended by the WBJEE Board.

For Diploma Engineering:
1. Candidate should be passed the 10th examination with ith English, Mathematics & Physical science/Science and have a minimum score of 35% marks.
