About Us

Management Development Institute properly known as MDI is one of the excellent business school in India which was set up in the year 1973 with its extensive campus area of 43 acres at Sukhrali, Gurugram of the Haryana state by Industrial Finance Corporation of India.  Its second campus has come up near Murshidabad, West Bengal. The institute has got affiliation with Association of MBAs and All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

The institute was established with the intent to impart quality education, excellence knowledge and industrial experiences to its candidates through various courses. It was accredited by South Asian Quality Systems (SAQS) in 2005. The long-term Education Programmes are accredited by Association of MBAs (AMBA), U.K.

The PG Programmes in Management offered by MDI are accredited by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) New Delhi.

Admission

Admission to candidates in MDI conducts only the Common Admission Test (CAT) score based. Shortlisted candidates are mandatory to appear in WAT, PI and GD interview for final admission at MDI.

The Institute has the best placement record as packages of salary are increasing regularly year by year. The average CTC across the three courses in placement 2018, stood at INR 19.35 LPA with the highest domestic CTC being INR 35.00 LPA and highest international CTC being INR 55.00 LPA.
