About Us

KIT's College of Engineering, Kolhapur was founded in the year 1983 by a group of visionary industrialists, professionals, and educationalists. It is the first self-financed engineering college in Maharashtra. It is located at Gokul Shirgaon, Maharashtra.

The Institute has been awarded by The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with “A Grade", Bengaluru. Institute has accreditation by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA), New Delhi, which is Govt. a body for the accreditation of programs in institutes, and affiliated with Shivaji University Kolhapur 

It is becoming one of the most prominent and successful institutes for Engineering and Technology in western Maharashtra. It is offering many courses like B. Tech and M. Tech in the field of Engineering.
