About Us

Kanak Manjari Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences also known as KMIPs is a renowned and premier private Institute which was set up in the year 1982 located at Chhend Colony, Rourkela of the Indian state Orissa to teach Pharmaceutical Sciences. The Institution educates and trains to its students by experienced teaching members including expertise trainers in the field of Pharmacy. At present, the institute is providing its core curriculums such as Post Graduate (M.Pharm), Degree (B.Pharm) and Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) Levels. 

Since 1982, the institution has been sustained its ambition to fulfilling the needs for Pharmaceutical Sciences of the people along with the society of the Orissa state. Due to its best performance and results, the institution has been able to create a niche for itself among all other institutes offering courses in Pharmacy.

The institute accepts merit or Entrance Tests based admission for the Pharmaceutical curriculums.

Placement cell acts consistently at the campus with a purpose to impart the final placement of the students passing out from the institute from various courses. Students who have cleared their course from this institute have been placed in pharmaceutical companies like Pfizer, Glenmark, Cadilla, Emcure, Lupin, Bennett etc. in various sales and production positions and also placed in Hospitals like Apollo Pharmacy and Government Hospital. Apart from this, the Diploma students have basic opportunities through self-employment scheme.
