About Us

The Faculty of Technology at Kalinga University Raipur is leading institution for providing a high-quality education to prospective students. It located in the Smart City of New Raipur, this University has been providing four branches in the engineering courses. B.Tech and M.Tech are available at this university. Admissions into the respective branches are given on the basis of merit.

Course Eligibility

1. B.Tech 4-Year Semester

Student have done 10+2 with Physics/ Mathematics /Chemistry / Computer Science / Electronics / Information Technology / Biology / Informatics Practices / Biotechnology / Technical Vocational subject / Agriculture / EngineeringGraphics/ Business Studies / Entrepreneurship. (Any of the three)

Candidates must have obtained minimum 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved quota) in the above mentioned subjects taken together.

OR

Passed min. 3 years Diploma examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, incase the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted. (The Universities will offer suitable bridge courses such as Mathematics, Physics, Engineering drawing, etc., for the students coming from diverse backgrounds to achieve desired learning outcomes of the programme).
2. B.Tech (Lateral Entry) 3-Year Semester One needs to passed Diploma Examination from an AICTE approved / recognized Institution; with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in appropriate branch of Engineering / Technology. Passed B.Sc. Degree from a recognized university as defined by UGC, with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) and passed XII standard with mathematics as a subject. Provided that in case of students belonging to B.Sc. Steam, shall clear the subjects of Engineering Graphics / Engineering Drawing and Engineering Mechanics of the first year Engineering program along with the Second year subjects.
3. Diploma in Engineering (Lateral Entry/ Direct Second Year ) 2-Year Semester Candidate must 10+2 PCM/ITI (2 years) / 2 years passed out in Vocational Courses in Relevant Trade/3-year Apprenticeship
4. M.Tech 2-Year Semester B. Tech. /B.E in Relevant Subject
