About Us

Kakinada Institute of Technological Sciences (KITS), Ramachandrapuram was set up in the year 2008. The KITS is run by Raja Ratna Healthcare and Educational Trust with the objective of providing Technical Education par excellence to the Rural & Semi-urban students of East Godavari, West Godavari, Visakhapatnam, and Srikakulam districts. The college is situated 5 Km from the distance of Ramachandrapuram town, and 20 km from Kakinada, the headquarters of E. G. Dt (A.P). 

The college is provided facilitates an AC Auditorium, AC Conference- room, well-equipped laboratories, free internet with a 70 Mbps leased line, a world-class Library server with a 2.5 TB backup area, an A.T.M. H.T. Power supply two generator sets of capacity 100 kva, excellent canteen to cater to the needs of students and staff.

KITS is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE New Delhi) and is affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada, and also An ISO 9001-2015 Certified Organisation. The college offers B.Tech, M. Tech, and MBA programs.

Eligibility Criteria: 

Diploma: As per the Govt. norm. Candidates should be passed SSC Examination with a minimum of 40% marks and be POLYCET qualified.

B.Tech: As per the Govt. norm. Candidates should be passed the 10+2 Examination (M.P.C Group & Inter Vocational & Bridge Course Pass) with a minimum of 40% marks and be EAMCET qualified. (For O.C candidates minimum of 45% marks.)

M.Tech: As per the Govt. norm. Candidates should be passed B.Tech with a minimum of 50% marks and be PGECET/GATE qualified.

MBA: As per the Govt. norm. Candidates should be passed any Degree with a minimum of 50% marks and be I-CET qualified.
