About Us

Hamdard College of Pharmacy launched a diploma course in 1972 which was affiliated with the Delhi Board of Technical Education. After one year of foundation, the B.Pharmacy course was started in 1973 at Delhi University. In 1982, M. Pharm. in Pharmacognosy was started. In 1986 M. Pharm. program in all the four disciplines and simultaneously a Ph.D. program in all the disciplines was started. 


In 1997 self-financing B. Pharmacy program was started with an annual intake 60. In collaboration with Ranbaxy Research Laboratories, the Department of Pharmaceutical Medicine was started in 1999 for Ph.D. program in this discipline.
