About Us

The Indian Institute of Management Tiruchirappalli generally known as Indian Institute of Management Trichy or IIMT is an autonomous public business institute which was formed in the year 2011 situated at Tiruchirappalli-Pudukkottai NH- 336 of the Tamil Nadu state as India’s eleventh Indian Institute of Management under an eleventh five-year plan. The Institute is conducted under the mentorship of Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore.

Tiruchirapalli in Tamil Nadu is a grand city for art and culture where IIMT permanent campus is sprawling at least 170 acres of land on Trichy-Pudukottai highway which distance is at least12 km from Tiruchirappalli International Airport.

Programs

Indian Institute of Management Tiruchirappalli has come to its existence with beginning management program with aims to deliver decent and quality education to its students by several courses under the management programs. The other campus of IIM Trichy is located at Chennai that imparts Post Graduate Programme in Business Management (PGPBM) which classes are conducted only on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Admission process

IIM Trichy conducts admission to candidates for the Management programs based on CAT Exam score. Only shortlisted candidates participate for the final admission in Personal Appearance (PA), Personal Interview ( PI), Group Discussion and Witten Ability Test ( WAT).

Fee Structure

Fee details for the courses under the management programs have been scheduled by IIMT which may be modified any time according to need as it has the authority to change in fee structure.

Although, the faculty interacts and invites various recruiters to visit IIMT every year and they visit the institute with the purpose to hire the excellent students.
