About Us

Heritage Institute of Technology Kolkata was set up in the year 2001 under the Kalyan Bharti Trust (KBT) and is a self-financed private college. It is situated at Chowbaga Road, Anandapur, East Kolkata Township, Kolkata.

HIT Kolkata is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE New Delhi) and is affiliated with the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT West Bengal).

It provides courses like B.Tech, M.Tech, and MCA. The college provides facilities like Postal, Central Computing, Sports/Games, Banking, Health Care, Fire Fighting, Transportation, Cafeteria, Common Rooms, and Hostel.

Eligibility Criteria

1. Candidate should be passed the High School (10+2) examination of the Council of Higher Secondary Education, West Bengal, or equivalent and have a minimum score of 45% marks.

2. Qualified Joint Entrance Examination conducted by West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board / JEE(Main) conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education and recommended by the WBJEE Board.
