About Us

Gurukula Kangri Vishwavidyalaya, Haridwar was coined in March 1902 with the objective of imparting education in the areas of Vedic literature, Indian philosophy, Indian culture, modern sciences, and research by Swami Shraddhanandaji.

It is deemed to be a university that is fully funded by UGC/Govt. of India. It is situated on the bank of the Ganges at a distance of about 6 km. It has a green lush campus, situated 5 km milestone from the main campus on National Highway.

GKV Haridwar has been offering various courses like  Diploma in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, and B. Tech in Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering.
