Government Engineering College (GEC) Barton Hill was founded in the year 2003 by the Government of Kerala.

It is located at Barton Hill, Kunnukuzhi, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. The college is approved by the All Idia Council for Technical Education, New Delhi, previous this college was affiliated with the University of Kerala but is now affiliated with APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University, Kerala. This college provides courses like 5 B. Tech courses and 7 M.Tech courses.
