About Us

Founded in 1993, the Government College of Engineering & Technology (GCET), Jammu is approved by the All India Council of Technical Education, New Delhi (AICTE), and is affiliated with the University of Jammu. The Campus is spread over 0.43959 Square Kilometers of area at Chak Bhalwal, Jammu which is 22 km away from Jammu city. 

GCET provides facilities like Library and sports, a Library, Wi-fi, Class Room, Cafeteria, Hostel, and a Medical. The college offers post-graduate level and Undergraduate level programs.

Admission Criteria:

The student should be passed the 12th examinations with English, Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry (Science Group) from J&K Board of School Education or any other examination conducted by a University/State Board of Secondary Education recognized as equivalent thereto with not less than 50% marks in aggregate in the qualifying examination in respect of open category and 40% marks in aggregate in respect of SC/ST categories.
