About Us

Girijananda Chowdhury Institute of Pharmaceutical Science, Tezpur established by the Shrimanta Shankar Academy Society in the year 2020 under the Public-Private Partnership and is situated Near Dekargaon Railway Station Dekargaon, Tezpur Sonitpur, Assam.  The college is courses offering a Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) and a Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm). It provides facilities Playground, Guest House, Drug Information Centre (DIC), Hostels, and a Medical plant garden.
 
It is affiliated with Assam Science and Technology University, Jalukbari, Guwahati, and approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), New Delhi, and All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, and MHRD New Delhi.  

Admission Eligibility Criteria
The candidate should be passed the '10+2' examination with Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology,  and Computer Science, and must have obtained at least 50% marks in the above three subjects taken together.
