About Us

Alpine Group of Institutes known as AGI, Uttarakhand, Raipur is a private institute which was established by NIAE Educational Society Dehradun in the year 1994 at Chakarata Rd, Nanda Ki Chowki, Prem Nagar, Dehradun of the Uttarakhand state. Alpine Polytechnic College was laid as an essential part of the Alpine Group of Institutes which has had endeavor constantly to impart practically and theoretically based education on the national as well as international standard not only for Polytechnic Course but also in a wide range of courses by its experienced teaching staffs. 

Alpine has always catered to the needs of deserving students who are keen to acquire value based education.  It has aimed to develop to all students all around with catering modern teaching techniques by a faculty expert. 

It is approved by Under Grants Commission (UGC), All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi (AICTE) and  Uttarakhand Board of Technical Education.

Courses

Apparently yes, AGI offers various curriculums in many branches like AME, Agriculture, Diploma in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering (Production), Mechanical Engineering (Automobile), Hotel Management & Catering Technology, and D.Pharmacy with intent to fulfill the necessity of the industries.

Application Process

Candidates who have interested to pursue the Diploma course are mandatory to appear in Alpine Common Entrance Test (AGI CET) exam. They can apply both online or offline mode.

Admission Criteria

The AGI CET is an Alpine Common Entrance Test which is conducted by Alpine every year for UG/PG courses. Students are selected on the basis of merit and admission is done on the basis of securing score or candidate’s performance. It also gives an opportunity to the candidates who really want to pursue their career seriously in a particular field.

Eligibility & Minimum Qualification​

For Polytechnic admission, candidates should be passed class 10th from recognized board.

Placement Records

The training and placement Cell cater job opportunity along with full-fledged collaboration to its students. It also endeavors to provide more than more job placement to students by the collaboration of reputed industries.

It conducts an internship in summer vacation and enables them on the basis of modern requirement of the industry.  Placement cell is in constant touch with the companies and gets updated with job openings.
